You will find that this is a very active Christian community that seeks to be deeply involved in the lives of church members and community members alike.
If you are trying to track down our physical location you may find that harder to do than it once was! Our offices are located at 1600 NW 167th Pl Suite 300, Beaverton, OR. There is someone in the office to greet you Monday - Thursday from 9am to 5pm. Our office space is our hub for our food pantry, minister's offices, resources and a variety of other active ministries. Please stop by to say hello. Judy, our remarkable volunteer secretary will greet you with a smile and gladly direct you to any resources you might be looking for. On Sundays we meet just around the corner at 17415 NW Walker Road, Beaverton, OR.
Classes begin at 9 am and church service begins at 10 am. Feel free to take some time to navigate around our website to get a feel for who we are and drop by the office or our services to meet us face to face! |

| Ministry Sign-Up | If you have been thinking about being involved in any of the six Ministry areas at Westside, please fill out one of the Sign-Up Sheets that can be found on the song cart at the back of the auditorium on Sunday mornings. Even if you aren’t sure about the details involved just fill out a sheet, indicating a request for information, and place it in the collection plate. The Coordinator(s) can then get back to you to address your questions. Please pray about participating. Your talents and spiritual gifts will bless the Westside body and, probably, yourself as well. |

| School Supply Collection | 
There are two opportunities to help school kids this year
- This year Westside will be collecting school supplies for Hazeldale Elementary School. As a bit of background they are classified as a Title I school, which means more than 51% of their students are receiving free and reduced lunches. In truth, more than 80% of their kids are on this program! Please take a look at the updated school supply list each week and help us provide the tools these kids need to excel in school. Look for the "Tools For School" tote at the back of the auditorium to drop off your donated items.
- Care To Share will be assembling and delivering 700 school supply kits for needy Beaverton area elementary students on Tuesday, August 24th and Wednesday, the 25th, from 9:00 - noon. We need 25 volunteers each day for this project. For safety reasons, no one under age 11 can be on the premises. Teens can receive community service hours. We will work at St. Matthew Lutheran Church 10390 SW Canyon Road, Beaverton. To volunteer please call Care To Share, 503-591-9079, ext. 3. Thank you.

| Ladies' Bible Study | If you have not been able to join us for our evening bible study, you are missing out on getting to know our awesome and wonderful Lord better, as well as each other! Please plan to join us this fall as we study “Faithful, Abundant, True” by Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer. The study is 7 weeks long, will begin on Monday, September 20th, and end Monday, December 13th. We will meet every other Monday evening at the office. The cost will be approximately $25.
